This past weekend I attended the first UAE Life and Style show held at ADNEC. The variation in vendor selection was impressive. When they said there was something for everyone, they weren’t kidding. There was everything from electronics, fitness, home interior, art, kids activities, toys, clothes, makeovers, the list can go on and on. I was pressed for time so I didn’t make it to all the stands that I wanted to, however, the ones that I did see were quality. It is hard to choose a favorite but I have selected my top 3.
Gaby Toys. This eco friendly toy shop has toys made mostly from high quality wood. These toys are built to last. In an age of high tech toys such tablets and iPads, it is nice to come back to the basics. I became interested in Gaby toys when I noticed my children going for these types of toys at other people’s houses or at free play areas. These types of toys are entertaining but also stimulating for children. I think these toys are just fantastic for little minds. Gaby Toys is located in Abu Dhabi. My ExWardrobe. I had recently started following these ladies on twitter and was really looking forward to seeing their stand. It did not disappoint. My ExWardrobe ethos is reduce/reuse/recycle/reown. They offer a wide variation of clothes taken on consignment. The collection on offer was stylish and trendy. It varied from everyday to eveningm, high street to designer. Mylist.ae. Some of you may have used gift registry’s before. If you have you know how much easier it makes your life when shopping for a specific occasion.
