Middle East Film and Comic Con returns to Dubai. The con will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center on April 6 through April 8, 2017. RHAD attended the pop culture event last year and it was a lot of fun. The event has grown over the years. It is the region’s  largest pop culture and entertainment festival – if you want a fantastic day of fun, creativity and excitement then MEFCC is the event for you!

From their site the convention is described as  a place where gamers meet face-to-face, where new creative work is taken seriously and developed through workshops. It’s also where cosplay and LARP is taken to a competitive level. Trekkies, steampunkers and sci-fi fans watch sneak peek pilot screenings,. There will also be celeb autographs sessions. The Q&A sessions have not yet been announce. Vendors will have new and  vintage comics, art, collectibles and anime paraphernalia for sale. This year’s event is touted to have an even bigger list of famed celebrities. We will post the list as soon as it is available. Last year the con brought to Dubai: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister from the Game of Thrones TV series).
