VOX LIVENS, the UAE’s Only Soprano Ensemble, comes together to enrich the musical scene of UAE with an unique offering of female voices repertoire ranging from Opera, Art Songs, Madrigals and a Cappella Contemporary works.

In its debut, this group of talented artists will explore pieces from Spanish Renaissance, German Baroque, Italian Opera, Venezuelan Madrigal and English a capella Contemporary works while the audience will feast on the chef’s modern gourmet three course menu.

Long before the discovery of oil, the natural wealth of the UAE was the pearl. Not merely a means of trade, the social and cultural traditions of pearling have left rich marks upon the UAE, and it is to honour this tradition that we have chosen our name, Vox Livens, literally the “pearl voice” in Latin. As pearls shine from shades of deep blue, to sparkling whites, so our voices carry each one a unique colour and tone that when combined make up a glistening ensemble.

This weekend Vox Livens will debut at Melius Restaurant located in the Irena Building in Masdar City. The details are below but first meet the incredible women who make up this ensemble.
